In this quick tutorial, you will learn how to use the various Game Fire features to optimize your computer performance and reliability in order to boost game FPS and reduce in-game lags, thus improve your gaming experience.

 

Let's begin our tutorial by launching Game Fire either from the application shortcut placed on the Desktop or from the Start Menu.

 

 

 

 

 

The main navigation bar located at the top of Game Fire's interface contains links to the main Game Fire features.

 

 

In My Games, you can organize, manage, and launch your favorite games from one place. My Games will automatically import installed games including games available from gaming platforms like Steam and Ubisoft Connect, you can also use the Scan for Games button to search for installed games and of course, you can still add games manually. By using Process Optimizer,  you can easily identify unnecessary apps and processes that are consuming system resources thus affecting your gaming experience. Once you identify those processes, you can either manually terminate them or attach those processes to your Game Mode settings in which Game Fire will automatically terminate them when Game Mode is activated and restore the optimized processes when Game Mode is turned off. Use System Optimizer to tweak the system, Internet, and app settings, this will help boost your computer's reliability in general and games performance in particular. (see System Optimizer)

 

Use this feature to get information about your system and hardware configuration besides real-time performance and health information. (see System Diagnostics)

 

 

The Menu button in the upper right corner of Game Fire's interface has links to Game Fire Settings, Privacy Policy, About, and other features and resources.

 

At the bottom of Game Fire's interface, there is the Turn on Game Mode button that can trigger Game Mode on and off, and the Quick Access button that allows quick access to the most frequently used Game Fire features.

 

 

 

 

In Game Mode, Game Fire will suspend unnecessary system features, applying various system tweaks, and focus computer resources on games you are playing. You can activate Game Mode by clicking on the Turn on Game Mode button that triggers Game Mode on and off.

 

Before activating Game Mode you may need to adjust Game Mode settings by selecting Customize Game Mode from the Quick Access menu. This will open Game Mode Profile where you can either select a profile from the pre-defined profiles or create an entirely new one. The selected Game Mode profile will determine which system features and services to be optimized by Game Fire.

 

 

You may also activate Game Mode by launching a game from My Games or by using the Game Mode hotkey (the default Ctrl + Shift + G) which you can use to activate Game Mode even if Game Fire is not running.

 

After clicking on the Turn on Game Mode button, Game Fire will display the dialog box below where you can select which third party services, processes, and scheduled tasks to optimize, those will be additional components to optimize besides the default system services and scheduled tasks defined using options in the Game Mode Profile.

 

 

 

When Game Mode activation is completed, Game Fire will display Game Mode Report (if enabled in Game Fire settings) that will give you an overview about optimized processes, services, and system settings and tweaks applied by Game Fire to improve your gaming experience.

 

 

 

You can deactivate Game Mode either by clicking the Turn off Game Mode button at the bottom of Game Fire's interface, using the Game Mode hotkey (the default Ctrl + Shift + G) or by right-clicking on the Game Fire icon in the system tray and selecting Turn off Game Mode.
